30kVA-300kVA Modular UPS
30–300kVA High-Capacity Modular UPS with Scalable Architecture and N+X Redundancy for Large Data Centers, Industrial Systems and Mission-Critical Infrastructure
ShanPu 30kVA-300kVA modular UPS is a three-phase online double-conversion UPS built on a 30kVA hot-swappable power module, designed for larger commercial, industrial and critical power applications. Cabinets accept 3, 5 or 10 modules, covering 30-90kVA, 30-150kVA and 30-300kVA. Output is regulated 380/400/415Vac pure sine wave at power factor 1.0 with 0ms transfer between mains, bypass and battery modes, system efficiency reaches 95.5% and input power factor stays ≥0.99, while cabinet charging current of up to 100A and ±180V to ±300Vdc battery banks support demanding backup requirements.
How the Modular UPS Works
The 30-300kVA modular UPS uses an online double-conversion power architecture to continuously regulate the power delivered to critical loads.
When utility power is normal, the rectifier converts incoming AC power into DC power. The inverter then converts the DC power into regulated AC power for the connected equipment. This continuous conversion process helps protect sensitive loads from utility voltage fluctuations, electrical noise and other power-quality problems.
The battery system is maintained in a ready-to-use condition during normal operation. When the utility supply is interrupted, the battery immediately supplies energy to the inverter, allowing the inverter to maintain AC output to the connected load.
The UPS achieves its overall capacity through multiple power modules operating together. The modular architecture allows the system to balance active capacity and redundant capacity according to project requirements. As the facility's load grows, additional modules can be incorporated to increase available UPS capacity without replacing the entire system.
Key Features
High-Capacity 30-300kVA Platform

Typical Configurations
Step 1 - Size the load. Add up the connected critical load in kW and convert at power factor 1.0; select the cabinet whose module count covers both the load and the required redundancy level.
Step 2 - Choose the cabinet by module count. ECOplus 90-30 (3 modules, 30-90kVA), 150-30 (5 modules, 30-150kVA) or 300-30 (10 modules, 30-300kVA).
Step 3 - Set the redundancy level. Define N+X by installing modules beyond the minimum required by the load, and decide between multi-unit parallel redundant deployment and high-reliability standalone operation.
Step 4 - Match the battery and environment. Select the battery string voltage from ±180V to ±300Vdc (30-50 cells optional); module charging current is 10A and cabinet charging current is 30A / 50A / 100A. Install within 0-40°C, 0-95% RH (non-condensing) and below 1500m altitude (derate 1% per 100m above 1000m).

FAQ
What is a 30–300kVA Modular UPS?
A 30–300kVA Modular UPS is a high-capacity online UPS system designed for larger commercial, industrial and critical power applications. Its modular architecture allows multiple power modules to work together while supporting scalable capacity and redundancy.
How does a 30–300kVA Modular UPS protect critical loads?
The UPS uses online double conversion to continuously regulate the power supplied to the load. This helps protect sensitive equipment from utility disturbances such as voltage fluctuations, electrical noise and power interruptions.
Why choose a 30–300kVA Modular UPS for critical applications?
The system combines high-capacity power protection with modular scalability and N+X redundancy. This makes it suitable for applications where power availability, future expansion and maintenance flexibility are important.
What applications are suitable for a 30–300kVA Modular UPS?
Typical applications include industrial automation, manufacturing facilities, larger server rooms, telecommunications, financial systems, commercial buildings and other critical infrastructure.
