Working Principle

The SP-3.6KW hybrid inverter combines MPPT solar charging, battery management and DC-to-AC inversion in one unit.
Solar panels generate DC power, which the built-in 100A MPPT charger converts into regulated 24V DC — simultaneously charging the battery and feeding the inverter. The controller automatically selects the energy source (solar / utility / battery) based on the user-set priority mode (SUB, SBU or SUF).
The 24V DC is then inverted into stable 220V pure sine wave AC to power loads. When grid power is available, the unit charges the battery and passes AC through to the load; when the grid fails, it switches to battery/solar power within 10ms, ensuring uninterrupted output.

Typical Configurations

Step 1 - Size the PV array. Plan up to 5000W of panels within the 60-500Vdc MPPT window, keeping the open-circuit voltage below 500Vdc. 

Step 2 - Choose the battery bank. Match a 24V lead-acid or LiFePO4 bank; battery-less operation is possible when only daytime solar or grid supply is required. 

Step 3 - Set the priority mode. Select SUB, SBU or SUF according to whether solar, battery or utility should serve the load first. 

Step 4 - Plan monitoring and environment. Use RS485 for battery BMS communication, optional WiFi for remote monitoring, and install within -10°C to 55°C at IP21.
